Cabin Interior
Upon completion of treatment in the Admissions Unit, patients move to cabin living in groups of eight to ten with live-in program counselors. Each cabin group works to become a therapeutic community where individuals are forced to face and work through the problems that led them to the Village.

Dining Hall
The Dining Hall is centrally located on campus at the Peninsula Village Youth Center. A full salad bar complements the buffet line.

Greenhouse
Both the Boys and Girls programs have a greenhouse on their respective campuses. Students maintain the greenhouse which is used to start seedlings for vegetable gardens and annual flowers.

Pow-Wow Site
The values of wholeness, community, and ecology are all represented in the Cheyenne Medicine Wheel. Peninsula Village is honored to have a pow-wow site that is a member of the Red Cedar Circle. Pow-wows are held on a regular basis to celebrate values that are important to recovery.

Ropes Course
As part of the Activity Therapy program, the Ropes Course is an effective experiential component of the Village's clinical program. Related activities help patients build self-confidence, develop trust and learn the importance of good communication.

Swimming Pool
The Village's swimming pool allows patients the opportunity to have fun as well as to exercise. Other activity therapy program components include canoeing, walking, jogging, volleyball and exercise courses.

Location
Peninsula Village is located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, just minutes from Knoxville, Tennessee. The 80-acre wooded campus is situated along the Tennessee River.
